The Pool House

I love the back yard here. It's probably my favorite thing about the house. We spend just about every evening out there after we get home. Because of the way the house is oriented the patio is in the shade in the late afternoon so it's a little cooler and I don't have to worry about sunburns. This little pool we got like Mom's has been a lot of fun and it's been cool to see how much more comfortable the kids are getting with the water. Do you guys remember the little pool Mom had for us on the back patio at the old house? Remember the 'diving board'? We must have jumped into that thing a thousand times! These guys aren't quite that brave yet but they're getting closer.


I included the picture above of the patio/pool for a bit of perspective since you guys haven't had a chance to visit yet. We were sitting at the patio table the other night eating ice cream and Olivia goes - 'Momma, when are we going to get a pool house?' A pool house. I proceeded to explain that typically people only built pool houses for pools that were a bit larger than ours and not inflatable. Not sure where the pool house request comes from they must be covering a wide range of topics at day care now.

My kids love ice cream so much they not only eat it but pretend to eat it the rest of the time.

Had to include this one, I can never get enough of Dave's smile. I swear sometimes I could just hug that boy to pieces!! Olivia actually took this one, I think she's going to be much better with the camera than me. I know that's not really too surprising!
