PiderMan!

David likes hats. Especially his Spiderman baseball cap. He picked it out himself on one of our trips to Walmart. He's got a few more little sun hats from different outfits and he'll throw those on occasionally as well but he seems to like this cap the most.

He cracks me up because he'll run around the house for something and when he comes back the cap's on backwards or sideways. Like the bit of attitude I got in the picture below?

This next one is one of the instances where he's going 'Momma, BUG!' and he says that about 5 times before I can get to where he is and see the bug. Fortunately for me it's just a crumb or a piece of dirt most of the time. Bugs are a very big deal right now.

This next one is also a site I see quite often now. He can't get the fridge open himself but the door must emit some frequency when it opens that only dogs and boys can hear because I open the door and poof! There he is!

The Spiderman cap was washed earlier in the week and he grabbed it as soon as it was dry, wore it to school that day took it off for a bit after he got home but stuck it on his head again after his bath and of course wore it to bed the next couple of nights.

Putting them to bed is one of my favorite things in the world to do. It's the only time each day that I get to spend individually with each of them. With David it's 15 to 20 minutes of tickling, giggling and lots of hugs. He'll put those little arms around my neck and pull my head to his chest and I can hear that little heart just thumping away and I'm in heaven. Sometimes he'll even ask me to sing which is a hoot. I can't sing very many things on key and I only know the words to a handful of songs, mostly Christmas carols! But I love to sing to him anyways. It's a bit different with Olivia, still takes about the same amount of time though. She'll snuggle up close to me and we'll read a couple of books or she will tell me a story. She'll make up her own versions of 'Little Red Hoodin' or Sleeping Beauty which are very entertaining. Throws in every character she can think of plus whatever exciting happened to her that day. Sometimes we'll just talk and she'll tell me what went on at school or ask me questions about stuff. Then, in her chripy little bird voice she'll tell me to 'Have a good sleep!' and a couple of minutes later she's out. I love it.
