New School Clothes!

We took advantage of the no tax holiday this weekend to do a bit of shopping for the fall and all the upcoming birthdays. Olivia's working hard on wearing out the few dresses she has so I got her a few new ones and of course we couldn't leave David out in the cold so he got a few new shirts. We call the one below her 'Party' dress since it has lots of colors on the skirt so now that is of course all she wants to wear - 'The Party Dress'. They both had fun jumping on my bed and trying on clothes.

Of course 'Hey Dave, smile for Mommy' REALLY means turn around and show me your butt. Much in the same way that 'Please give that to me' is code for 'RUN! She's trying to take our fun away!'

After trying on a couple of shirts, which HE actually wanted to do, David decided he would be better off helping Olivia try things on. So he would take things off the hanger and throw them at her.

After that he spent the rest of the time 'nekkid' and running from me everytime I tried to put clothes on him. Olivia on the other hand had a ball and has no problem posing for pictures. In fact, her new favorite past time is posing for pictures then picks out her favorite ones - of herself. Hey, does the one below remind anyone else of Aunt Tissy?
